Bien que les courses autour sont sympa, que les compétitions de Superleague proposent un beau plateau et quelques belles passes d'armes, le public est pas franchement le même Neutral

Juncadella joins Prema for Euro F3

Spaniard Daniel Juncadella will join Prema Powerteam for the upcoming 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season.

The 19-year-old, who finished in second place in the Formula BMW Europe Series last year, had already tested for the team in December at Estoril.

Juncadella has spent the last two years in Formula BMW, having taking the runner-up spot in the Spanish Master Junior championship in 2007.

"I've been impressed by his potential since the first moment - it ain't easy to jump on a Formula 3 car and understand its secrets so fast, and get some good feeling on how to use the Kumho tyres, which need a really sensible drive," said Prema's team principal Angelo Rosin.

"So, we decided not to let him go, and I can't be happier to announce Juncadella for the 2010 F3 Euro Series season.

"Juncadella has put some really valuable experience behind his shoulders in the BMW series that proved to be a right choice for many drivers, subsequently making great step-up seasons in Formula 3. I hope Daniel will keep this tradition alive, handing us some great results.

"We'll be starting our testing season soon, in order to enable Daniel to get in the best possible shape by Hockenheim."

Prema signs Marroc for Euro Series

Prema Powerteam has announced Frenchman Nicolas Marroc will join the team for the Formula 3 Euro Series this year.

Twenty-three year-old Marroc joins Spaniard Daniel Juncadella, who also confirmed at the team earlier today.

Marroc competed in the German F3 Cup last season, finishing in 12th position.

"We're honoured Nicolas decided to join forces with us and we'll be doing our best to put him in the best possible conditions to prove his potential," said team boss Angelo Rosin.

"In 2009, he entered the German F3 Championship, a tough series where he made his way to the points zone several times. I'm persuaded that results will come naturally by working hard and with harmony, as we always do."

Mortara returns to F3 with VW

Edoardo Mortara will move back into Formula 3 this year as a Volkswagen driver in the Euro Series.

The 23-year-old Swiss-born Italian raced in GP2 last year with Arden and, despite winning at the season opener at Barcelona, had a disappointing year and finished just 14th in the standings.

He returned to F3 to win the Macau Grand Prix with Signature last year and will remain with the team for the 2010 season.

He will join German F3 champion Laurens Vanthoor and Marco Wittmann, who switches from Mucke Motorsport, at the French outfit, which uses VW engines.

Mortara finished runner-up to Williams F1 racer Nico Hulkenberg in the 2008 Euro Series.

Choix étonnant de Mortara de retourner en F3. Macao lui a sans doute remis l'eau à la bouche, puis faute de mieux...

C'est un conflit avec Arden,il accuse l'équipe d'avoir sciemment favorisé Perez à cause de Telmex.Or il a un contrat avec Arden l'interdisant de rouler pour un autre team.
